Again, Miley put on a polite mask and said, “Hello, Mr. Clark. My name is Miley Cullen. I’ma friend of Stella’s. Best friend actually.”

“Hello.”
Stella grabbed her friend’s wrists, intending to drag her away. But Miley had other plans. She said enthusiastically, “Since you were so kind to have brought Stella to the hospital today, I’d like to treat you to a meal. What do you say?”
